Hi, I'm Tracy

I've spent my career sitting alongside leaders in their hardest moments of transition. I became a coach because I believe those moments are where real growth happens.

Tracy — Fieldnotes Leadership Coaching

I didn't come to coaching from the corner office. I came to it from the seat next to the person in that corner office. A trusted coach and thought partner who helped them see what's possible when they stop performing leadership and start leading in a way that's integrated, grounded, and fully theirs.

For over 15 years, I've been an HR Business Partner and Leadership Development Specialist in Fortune 500 Retail and Financial Services organizations. My role has always been the same at its core: sit shoulder-to-shoulder with leaders as they navigate the transitions that matter most. I've coached leaders as they step into new roles, expand their scope, face teams that aren't clicking, and face the quiet realization that what got them here won't get them there. I grew alongside my client groups, deepening my own thought leadership, coaching, and consulting as their challenges grew in complexity and scale.

I was first introduced to coaching using the GROW model facilitating a program that trained people leaders, creating a shared language and capability across the organization. This was the kind of work that unlocks the potential of people and brings culture to life. Watching leaders go through their own paradigm shifts as learners and the leadership impact for themselves and their teams, inspired my coaching journey.

In 2017, I experienced coaching from the other side of the table. A peer completing their coach certification at the Co-Active Training Institute needed practice clients, and I jumped at the opportunity. That experience landed at a moment of career transition for me, and it changed everything.

In 2023, I began my own journey with the Co-Active Coach training program through CTI. It came at a time when my own opportunity for leadership expansion was right in front of me. Through my work with aspiring leaders, first-time leaders finding their footing, and experienced leaders stepping into expanded scope, one thing has remained true about the impact working with a coach brings:

It's the moment when a client sees themselves clearly. When they stop trying to be what they think they should be, often trying on personas and losing themselves in the noise, to anchor back to what is true about who they are. Not just as a leader in the workplace, but in an integrated, holistic way. The work is helping them chart a new course that brings their unique voice, perspective, and strengths to the forefront. Watching how their impact takes new form as they grow.

As a Co-Active Practitioner, I specialize in those moments of transition. Walking together through the messy middle of change as a coach and thought partner as you find your way.

Originally from the Midwest, I've called Seattle home since 2015 with my family. Outside of coaching, you'll find me cheering on the Sounders and the Storm and serving as a leader with the Junior League of Seattle.

Let's find your leadership path — together.

Every leader's journey is different. Let's start with a 30 minute discovery conversation. No pressure, no pitch. Just an honest exploration of where you are and where you want to be.
